At the age of 91 mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and made a full recovery having wonderful care and support at Aintree Hospital. She sadly passed at the age of 95 after a fall and will be loved forever.

Moira Crichton

Moira was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 40 and required a mastectomy. Post Op, her Minister arrived for what he thought would be a bedside visit and found her scrubbing the kitchen floor. They bred them tough in the 20s. She died recently at the grand old age of 95. Up to the last, she enjoyed an active life, out walking whenever we had an arm to spare, lived on her own and looked after herself and was out in her substantial garden whenever she could. A life VERY well lived indeed.

You taught me how to be myself. You showed me the true meaning of love. You were my light when I was in a dark place. I will always wear my wedding ring and always have yours close to my heart. You were such an amazing woman and everyone who knew you will feel like a part of them is gone too. I will love you forever and will never find anyone like you again. My lovely son Chris helped me through all my treatments and surgery for breast cancer. He sadly passed, aged 47, recently. Chris would have been very happy knowing the donations were going to Breast cancer

Adam Lawson

Adam my son supported me through my breast cancer treatment and always empowered me to kick its ass and we did I got the all clear. I ran the pretty muddy 5k with Adam running along the side of me filming on his go pro and we decided that he wanted to run it next year unfortunately Adam ( forever 22 ) was killed in a motorbike accident this year at the age of 22 so this is a donation from his funeral to help fund research into cancer.

Her sudden passing was a shock to us all - she had been given the all clear early last year but unfortunately the breast cancer cells had silently returned.
